Dear Readers,
It is Sunday once again and time for my installment of Sunday Dear Readers. I have enjoyed sharing my pictures from my mailbag and am working more on deciding what exactly I should post on this blog about my writing. While I am still doing my Meme’s I do want to shift the focus to Mail and Mail art. I send so many letters and love doing so I feel the need to share it. This inspiration of course came from not only my love of letter writing but also a lovely Lady called The Missive Maven. Her blog is fantastic and just inspired me to get the word out more. She is in inspiration and the links on her blog have opened my eyes to just how many writing projects and the like there are on the community of the World Wide Web.
I love writing and for this Sunday, I will share what I have not yet posted about from my mailbox last week. The postcards are from a Post crossing trade and made a trip all the way from the Netherlands. Than we have a lovely letter from a new pen pal from England and I love the little sticker decoration on the corner of the envelope. There is also some stickers on the inside letter. Last but not least is a letter from a fellow FPNer where he printed a nice header on some Southworths Fine Parchment Paper in Ivory one of my favorite papers.
I hope that you enjoy the mail as much as I do; there really is nothing better than finding a letter tucked in with all the bills and the junk mail that you do not want. To me even the most simple of letters is a small piece of art. In fact, I believe this so much that I wrote an article on Article Content about the Lost Art of letter writing and I plan to write a follow up of it soon about how Letters really are a form of art that everyone can do. Weather you mail it in a simple envelope or one you made yourself.
Truly,
