I have been afraid of needles with a vengeance for my whole life. I still am. However with this cancer battle and fighting it. I decided it was time to do something for me. Something that was permanent and that would remind me that there is always hope. That I can beat this thing, like others have. Also because I am a geek of the Twilight novels I wanted something coy that could fit in with Twi relations.
And SO I did it. I got myself a tattoo. I have joined the official ranks of rebel. And you know what? It was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Yes it did hurt and I had to stop twice because my body overheated with the adrenaline pumping. But it didn’t hurt as much as I had thought it would. So my right shoulder proudly shows a cancer support ribbon that says I felt Hope. I think it is going to need to be touched up a bit when it heals. But that’s okay. I also think I am going to get a second one (to even out the shoulders) small like the first it will be an Egyptian Ankh. A royal symbol after all. So your humble Jefferson fan has become an inked person. *laughs* I don’t think Tom would object too much.
As I am sitting here watching a special about the Dracula family line (very interesting about Mr. Vlad the Impaler) I decided I really should see about a calendar for next year. And being the hard core Twi geek that I am thought I will get a New Moon calendar. Cause well Jasper looks pretty yummy in the family shot on the cover. Yup that’s me. Thomas Jefferson and Jasper Whitlock. Yum.
The sad part is coming I promise. I ended up having to add it to my Borders wish list because I don’t have a whole 16.99 to spend on a calendar. Yeah that is getting pretty sad.

You had to know it was coming. A post sometime about life insurance. After all goodness knows I batter about being sick and life and other things enough. So yes sure enough here is a post about life insurance. Australian life insurance, American life insurance any kind really. There are a lot of great arguments for you to invest in it. The biggest being of course the cost of a funeral these days. While know one really wants to think of their own mortality it is a true to life fact.
Although I had a funny friend of mine tell me today, “You of all people with the forensic shows you watch should know why you shouldn’t get life insurance” it made me laugh because he was right about that. I have seen so many of those shows that end up having someone killed for the life insurance money.
But in all seriousness, despite the fact that your spouse may kill you. (kidding) You should look into life insurance. It is something that provides for your loved ones when your gone. It helps see to your bills that remain and making sure you don’t end up in just a plain pine box. Really you know coffins are so much nicer these days anyways than the old days. (I am kidding again. Sort of )
So here we are. This blog has been among my other’s that have sadly fallen by the wayside. But no longer. No, I am getting back in the mood. Heck even Thomas Jefferson had to have moments of I don’t wanna do anything? Right? Perhaps after Martha died, poor man was so grief stricken. Well I have been on my pity pot for sure. And it is time to get off it. I may be sick but so what so are other people.
Blogging was helping me in the beginning and its time to help me again. So Blogs be reborn! Notions come again. And time to bore people to death with my random prattle again. HUZZAH…..still with me? Good. I will be doing some contests again in the near future. It’s just a case of deciding what to give away. You never know it could be anything from a Rev war something to a Twi something to. Well who knows what I will think about next.
