Heads or Tails Tuesday #16



Playing a little catch up with this one because I forgot to do it for a few weeks.

Here is from Dec 15th:HEADS - Gone Fishin'

Make any kind of post about anything you might see, use or do while fishing.

This has a lot of outside the box thinking opportunities.. "Hooked" on someone, "fishing" for compliments, an event at "school", drawing a "line" in the sand, etc.

This is an interesting topic, seeing as off the cuff you would of course think about actual fishing. Well to think outside of the box I have decided I will use the idea to say what I use when I am fishing for a book to read. With over 600 books on my TBR pile (I have tried to cut it down) fishing for a book to read can be a project.

The first thing I do in the last year and moving forward is think of what reading challenges I have given myself on my book blog Fire & Ice. I will than decide what I am in the mood for at that moment and start twiddling it down. I try to fit at least one book from a challenge in a month, usually more. But my biggest fishing tool is just feeling out my mood for what book I want to read, I honestly never know what that is going to be. I can think I am in the mood for one thing and end up in the mood for something totally different.
